Sumaiya Shimu is a popular TV actress.
The once revered actress is now absent from the small screen.
Although she is seen appearing in various events sometimes, she is not as active in acting as before.
The latest news is that Sumaiya Shimu becomes the mother of twins.
On November 8, Shimu gave birth to twin sons in a hospital in the capital.
Presently, the mother and child are healthy, said noted director Chayanika Chowdhury.
Besides, Chayanika Chowdhury welcomed Sumaiya Shimu and said, “Our Dr Sumaiya Shimu.
This wonderful girl has entered the sweetest chapter of life.
She became a mother of twin boys on November 8. Many congratulations to you Shimu. I know you will be unique as a mother too.
Many blessings and love to your babies.”
It is noted that Sumaiya Shimu got married to Nazrul Islam on 28 August 2015.
At the time of their marriage, her husband was the country director for the international NGO Relief International.
