The Sylhet Tourist Club welcomed the members of Biswa Banga Sahitya and Culture Conference, a literary organization whose are came from India established in Upper Bengal, on Tuesday afternoon at an elite hotel in the city.
The founding editor of Vishwa Bangla literature and culture conference and editor-in-chief of Vishwa Bangla magazine, playwright and writer. D. Radhakant Sarkar, cultural editor of Vishwa Banga Sahitya and Sanstur Sammalon and editor of Vishwa Bangla newspaper, eminent musician Dr. Shibani Das, film producer Kaya Basak, writer Dr. Gauri Prasanna Mondal, poet Shivshankar Baksi, social activist Sujata Baksi, Rabindra music artist Subhash Bandyopadhyay, musician Tunna Majumdar, poet Amar Kumar Das etc. were felicitated by the organization with flowers.
