MAF (Multiparty Advocacy Forum) Rangpur has organized an “workshop on Political Harmony” on wednesday at VI Seasons Convention Center, Rangpur City. For promoting harmony and amity within and among political parties as well as in this area, MAF Rangpur with the support of Democracy international organized this Harmony workshop. In this event the leaders (MAF members) from Bangladesh Awami league, Bangladesh Jatiyotabadi Dal, Jatiyo Party; representatives of CSO and NGO, and journalists of different local and national newspapers both City and District unit were participated. MAF Rangpur is a common platform of the Youth Political Fellows, Master Trainers, and Senior Political Fellows of Democracy International. They take initiatives in various social issues and combinedly try to solve those problems. The total members of MAF Rangpur are 39. The representatives of Civil Society and media were also present in this Harmony event. Total participants were 55. Among others, Rangpur Region Democracy International Senior Regional Manager, Md. Ali Ejad, MAF Rangpur President Shahida Rahman Josna, eminent cultural personality Dr. Mafizul Haque Mantu, educationist Prof. Shah Alam, NGO Personality Principal Fakruzzaman Benju, Press Club President Mahbub Rahman gave speeches.
